1. Introduction
On June 1st, 2021 (PDT), AWS WAF and AWS Shield Advanced have been made available in the Osaka region.
AWS WAF and AWS Shield Advanced are available in Asia Pacific (Osaka)
Following this, WafCharm and CSC’s managed rules (Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF -HighSecurity OWASP Set-, Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF Classic -OWASP Set-, and Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF -API Gateway/Serverless-) have also been available for use in the Osaka region.
Below is the list of supported regions for AWS WAF, WafCharm, and CSC’s Managed Rules as of June 1st, 2021 (PDT).

3. WafCharm Availability
The Osaka region can be selected by going to the
WafCharm management screen > Web ACL Config > Add > "Choose your AWS region"

4. CSC’s Managed Rules Availability
With the expansion of AWS WAF regions, CSC’s Managed Rules will also be available in the Osaka region.
Since February 20th, 2019, Cyber Security Cloud has started selling Managed Rules as a certified seller on the AWS Marketplace.
