1. Introduction
On September 1st, 2020 (PDT), AWS WAF and AWS Shield Advanced have been made available in two new regions: Milan and Cape Town.
AWS WAF and AWS Shield Advanced Now Available in Africa (Cape Town) and EU (Milan)
Following this, WafCharm and CSC’s managed rules (Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF -HighSecurity OWASP Set-, Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF Classic -OWASP Set-, and Cyber Security Cloud Managed Rules for AWS WAF -API Gateway/Serverless-) have also been available for use in the two regions.
Below is the list of supported regions for AWS WAF, WafCharm, and CSC’s Managed Rules as of September 1st, 2020 (PDT).

3. WafCharm Availability
You can select the following two new regions from:
WafCharm management screen> Web ACL Config> "Choose your AWS region"
If you are using or considering using the two new regions, please consider implementing WafCharm as part of web security strategy.
WafCharm also has been updated to accommodate AWS WAF updates released on November 25th, 2019.

4. CSC’s Managed Rules Availability
With the expansion of AWS WAF regions, CSC’s Managed Rules will also be available in the two new regions.
Since February 20th, 2019, Cyber Security Cloud has started selling Managed Rules as a certified seller on the AWS Marketplace.
